Edge Technologies, a business unit of Hydromat, Inc., is an industry leader in advanced bar feeding and lathe automation solutions. Edge has become the leading supplier and installer of magazine bar feeders designed for CNC Swiss-type and fixed headstock lathes.
Edge relies primarily on its regional sales reps to drive sales through dealer channels. Lathe dealers work with Edge’s regional sales reps to configure the optimal package for machine shop customers and system end-users. The dealer then packages Edge’s bar feeder with the selected lathe and sells it to the machine shop. After completion, the order is shipped and installed by regional service technicians.
To remain competitive, Edge requires fast, accurate processing and fulfillment of orders — both domestically and around the world. Order fulfillment speed can be the determining factor in winning an order.
