Epicor Apps for the Windows 8 Phone

Epicor Software today announced the introduction of two new Windows 8 mobile apps to help businesses streamline time and expense tracking. These touch-optimized apps are intended to free employees of cumbersome filing. The apps — one for expenses and the other for time entry — are designed to streamline recording and improve accuracy of time and expense tracking for employees in the field.

According to the company statement, approximately 30 percent of the global workforce relies on phones or tablets for on-the-road work. And more than 80 percent of workers work away from the office.

The Epicor apps feature Dashboards, Timesheets and Expense Tracking Forms, Reminders, Memos, Rounding, Notifications, Personalization, and Sharing.

Epicor Windows Phone 8 apps work with existing Microsoft® infrastructure for a greater investment of other Microsoft® products.

Security is based on Microsoft’s layered approach to ensure the apps are rigorously protected.
