Salesforce publicly introduced the Customer Success Platform, which bridges the gap between companies and their customers. Now, companies “can go as fast as the evolving technology world around them.”
Also making headlines yesterday at Dreamforce 2014, Salesforce announced Wave, the Salesforce Analytics Cloud. Wave is the first cloud analytics platform designed for every business user. Salesforce hopes to make it easier for anyone to explore data, uncover new insights and take action instantly from any device. The tablet version looks extremely user-friendly and sleek.
“Companies can now quickly deploy sales, service and marketing analytics, or build custom mobile analytics apps, using any data source—empowering everyone to make smarter decisions from anywhere,” Saleforce revealed.
Sapot said of the new technology, “Analytics Cloud is available now to download in the App Store. This is a must-use app, with mobile, responsive design and all your Salesforce data available in a single instance.”
If you haven’t been focusing on personalized, customer engagement now is the time. Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce, said of the shift in focus, “We are living in the single most innovative era in the history of technology. Everything and everyone is being connected, and a company’s relationship with its customers is the new bottom line.”
To succeed in the future, every company needs a platform to capture and personalize every customer interaction, to connect with customers in a whole new way.
We are excited that Salesforce is pushing more industry-specific apps. This is great news for manufacturers. As partners are encouraged to step up development, expect more apps geared to your specific needs in the coming months and years.
Sapot attended an awesome session about Salesforce Lightning. Developers will now be able to customize Salesforce.com using the new user interface builder.
Check back often for more news and updates from this incredible conference. And be sure to keep the conversation going on Twitter. #DF14
