Epicor Insights is Off to a Great Start

Today kicks off the start of the learning portion of Epicor Software’s annual user’s conference: Epicor Insights ’14. More than 4,000 users have gathered in Las Vegas to learn more about the incredible advances from Epicor. This includes the announcement of Epicor 10, the company’s latest ERP (enterprise resource planning) software.

Anticipation built over the start of the conference keynote addresses. Epicor users from around the world attended this annual user’s conference.

Today featured welcome and keynote addresses, including the Microsoft Technology Keynote given by Steve “Guggs” Guggenheimer, CVP and Chief Evangelist for Microsoft. 

 

Epicor will be using Microsoft platform end-to-end, which received applause from the audience.

Microsoft and Epicor are partnering to create a better user experience and value for Epicor ERP users. 

Epicor’s CMO, John Hiraoka spoke at the Epicor ERP keynote session about social business. 

 

The use of cloud will be growing in the coming years as nearly 33% of ERP users will be cloud based by 2020. 

 

CIOs are going to be focusing on managing the customer experience using mobile and tablet options.
